Between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, it is customary to visit a flowing body of water and cast away our misdeeds by throwing bread crumbs into the water. The Ruach Hamidbar tradition is to go out on Saguaro Lake on the Second day of Rosh Hashanah to enjoy nature and celebrate the birthday of creation. Please bring bread for Tashlich, sunscreen, water, and snacks. Rabbi Sarah Leah and friends will be blowing shofarot and Desert Wind will be on board to lead music, prayers, and songs.
Directions: Go east on Shea and north on Hwy 87/Beeline Highway to Saguaro Lake turnoff. Follow signs to the Marina and go down to the dock and you will see the Desert Belle paddleboat by the dock.
