Current affiliated members of other congregations are welcome!

We welcome and encourage the youth to partake in this Shabbat gem of celebratory learning.

A two hour journey once a month for students to either enrich their current Jewish education with more integrated creativity OR encourage the reluctant learner or non-traditional student to begin their fascination with the Jewish tradition and Torah through the engaging process of the arts.

The Jewish Art School classes are thematically designed to open students to the artistic way approaching concepts within Judaism.       Each class will have its own thematic song, movement and image to enrich the senses and move the spirit.  As well as a predictable structure that builds on concepts that are core in Jewish Education, such as Aleph Bet exposure, key prayers, and values such as tikkun olam and gemulut chasadim.

To register: Office@Ruach.Org

Cost: $200. for 10 sessions on Saturdays from 3pm-5pm  and 5 celebrations

    KAVANAH - HOLY INTENTIONS

  1. Serve as a meaningful, supportive, creative Jewish learning community.
  2. Guide youth and involved parents in ways of experiencing fulfillment as Jews.
  3. Honor the skills the student brings and cultivates those skills through a Jewish lens.
  4. Ensure Jewish peoplehood is a relevant and dear part of each student’s life by helping them find the roles they are growing into, by giving them a seat of honor and respect in the tribe so that they are part of something, rather than a consumer of something.
  5. Nurture each student to develop their spiritual path as a Jew.
  6. The school will be fully inclusive for every kind of Jewish family, a joyful community of talented learners and dedicated mentors.
